Not only are condoms being promoted around the world to try stop the spread of aids and STDS along with unwanted pregnancies. It is properly the safest way to prevent this but also to teach men and women about family planning and responsible sex. Not everyone agrees to use condoms but surely it would have to be one of the easiest and cheapest way to prevent the issues of unwanted pregnancies and the spread of STDs.

Then there is the problem of people being embarrassed to buy condoms from pharmacies, just thinking about having to go in and buy or ask for condoms is enough to make them nervous. In the western countries condoms are available from a vending machine as people where afraid of others judging them or making jokes of their choices. The vending machines allow to preserve their privacy but this is also a problem because of a lack of information in regard to condom brands, style and sizes.

Buying the wrong size condom will mean i will either tear or slip off during sex, therefore the risk of a unwanted pregnancy or being exposed to a std. Men are not always aware of their size and what condom would soon them best. A study that was conducted India showed that 60%of the Indian men found that standard size condom was too big.

It’s always unpleasant to be stared at, and no man wants to be seen buying the smallest condom size but the wide range of colours, flavours and the shape styles are enough to confuse any body. No one likes to feel embarrassed.

In the western countries the standard sizes are small, medium/regular, large and extra large, still no sure what size you are here is a quick guide to help you pick your size quickly.

Small – length of 6inches(15cm) and a circumference of 3.9 inches (9.8cm)

Medium – length of 6.5 inches (16cm) and a circumference of 4.1 inches (10.4cm)

Large – length of 7 inches (17.5cm) and a circumference of 4.1 inches (10.4cm)

Extra large – 7.5–8 inches (18.5–20cm) and a circumference 4.3 inches (10.8cm) at the base and 4.7inches (12cm) around the glands.
